- 2025-11-28: The drive from Hobart to Cradle Mountain was mostly long and boring, and it was a fight to stay awake the whole time. There were signs saying to take a powernap now. Now? While I am driving? Once we got to Cradle Mountain, it was freezing and raining. We did a bit of a night safari, but eventually gave up on that as well.
- 2025-11-29: We got up early to beat the crowds heading toward Dove Lake. It was again very cold and wet, and we parked quite a ways from the lake. Once we arrived halfway around the lake, we figured out that we should have walked clockwise. Many people were on the narrow trail coming the other way. After walking around Dove Lake, we walked up to Crater Lake via Wombat Poo(l). Occasionally, the sun would come out, but the whole day, I never removed any layers.
